Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Clinton, TN for a Service Technician at MELTON HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING INC. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Daily tasks include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and working closely with customers to address their needs and concerns.

  • Pay is determined by experience, ranging from $16hr -30hr.
  • Health Insurance and benefits provided. (401k, vacation pay, holiday pay, parental leave, bonuses, etc.)
  • Commercial vehicle and company phone provided

Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve HVAC system issues
  • Experience with preventive maintenance in HVAC systems
  • Knowledge and proper handling of EPA standards and regulations
  • Understanding of electricity and its application in HVAC systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Relevant HVAC certification or licensing is preferred
  • Physical ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment
  • Valid driver’s license required

Role Description

This is a on-site role based in Clinton, TN for an Office Staff member at MELTON HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING INC. This role is primarily responsible for answering incoming phone calls, assisting customers, and handling general office tasks to keep our business running smoothly. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist customers with basic questions, scheduling requests, and message taking
  • Enter and update customer information accurately
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing paperwork

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior office or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
  • Strong communication and phone etiquette skills
  • Basic computer skills (email, data entry, word processing)
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Friendly and customer-focused demeanor
